The house was built in 1895 and the farm is still in my family today. An additional pole barn was built around 1975 just west of the large barn along with another silo. The small house east of the large barn has been added onto and is currently owned by one of my brothers. Out in the pasture area, west of the large barn, another brother built his house. Behind the original farmhouse, the blacksmith shop has been torn down.
