This home sat on the north side of Michigan Ave (US-12) just west of Haggerty Rd. Notice the mileage sign for commuters in the front yard near bottom right with "Willow Run Airport 6" and "Ypsilanti 9" listed, this sign is no longer at this location. The home appears to have been built some time in the late 1950's and was razed in the early 2000's.

The lot has sat vacant and nature has reclaimed it since, becoming thick with trees. Interestingly, the former driveway was used as a thruway from Michigan Ave. to the Lower Rouge River Trail which runs behind this location to the north.

In 2020, the lot was bulldozed and a Leo's Coney Island restaurant was built immediately to the west of here, their parking lot is right next to where the home once stood. The former foot path that leads east from the house is now a paved sidewalk that runs from Haggerty to just past Leo's.
