I grew up on this farm. My grandfather, W.L. Christy purchased the farm in 1919. My dad, A.B. "Lonnie" Christy was born there; he farmed the land through 1977. The house was built in 1856 by the King family.

Had a B.B. gun accident in the big barn hay loft—shot myself in my eye —B.B. hit post and came back in the eye I was sighting with. Got home and rubbed my eye and B.B. came out and rolled down the sink. Enjoyed mowing hay with uncle Lonnie.
