Wallace and Velma Cole purchased this house and land in 1946.The dairy barn was added in 1948-1949. There was a very large red barn that burned in 1959( the neighborhood had barn dances in it hay loft, because of the beautiful floor)the present large barn was built in 1960. My sister, brother and I were raised here and had a great childhood as farm kids. The holidays were filled with city kinfolk that loved to visit. Mom and Dad sold the place in 1999 and moved to Sedalia. The property has changed owners in the past few years.
