The house on the north side of the road was my family home. It belonged to the Bowers family and has since been torn/burned down. We still own the farm house on the south side of the road and it has been in the family for over 100 years. Thank you for taking the photo of this because many in my family thought we would never see our old house again. Certainly warms our hearts. We would love to see a frontal picture of the farm house on the south side of the road but have not found it yet.
This photo has the house and barn where my wife grew up. The house and barn across the road was her family and the house and barn on this side of road were her grandparents. The house and barn across the road are no longer there. She really loved getting this picture of where she grew up since she doesn’t have any other. She and her siblings still own the buildings on this side of the road.
