This is the house I grew up in. We moved in when I was about 5or 6 in 1998. It looks similar but not quite the same. We did a lot of work to it over the years. My dad just recently moved out of it.

I bought this house in 1998 from Elizabeth Weimer and raised a large family in it. It was built by her Grandfather or great grandfather William Reed and was the first house in the area. This is the front of the house but the address was to the side road of the house because it was the first road built there. Mrs. Weimer has passed on but was eager to share the history of the area and was amazingly lucid for her advanced age. Unfortunately, we have left the house due to a downsizing of the family and no need for as much space. The floor joists and rafters are all hand hewn trees with the bark still attached and as wide as 28". The small from building was added on to and is almost double. The larger white barn (chicken coop) I tore down and built a garage behind it. The darker rear barn is gone and the hidden barn in the trees behind house is still there and is used by the amish to store wood items. I also put in a pond and drive to the left of the small barn.
