This is my parents' farm, where I grew up! My cousin sent me your photo. Many things have changed. The outbuildings and sheds attached to the barn are gone, and my family has sold the barn to someone who is dismantling it for recycling into a new barn on another property. My family still owns the property. Your picture brought back SO many fond memories: of raising our animals, hours spent playing in my sandbox under the tree between the barn and the house, looking out my bedroom window (the one on the right side of the house, upstairs.) How did you come to have this picture?

I found this site, "Vintage Aerial" on FB. I have ordered a print of the property I now have in Montville and intend to have it framed and thought that the rest of the family would enjoy the experience. Please help me pass it along. Love ya

Hello Maryann,

Thank you for your interest in Vintage Aerial.

We actively seek out and acquire aerial photography film libraries to add to our collection. Most times these film libraries are no longer in use, we acquire and digitize the film before it deteriorates in order to preserve America's rural history.

Best Regards,

My husband grew up here and now owns it with his sisters. We live next to the farm. Can you tell me how to get a print of it?

Jeanette...They can be ordered at the Vintage Aerial website. Mary and I just received ours and we are thrilled with it. If you run into any problems give me a call. They are available in different sizes and formats.
