Dellroy School

What has changed is that this is the last year of school in the building ending in 2019. The history of this building is unknown and it could be razed. I attended school my entire 12 years in the Elementary Building and then crossed the road to this one. Many changes and good memories. My husband came from Leesville, OH and graduated here in 1948.

I went to dellroy elementary all 7 years k-6. I remember Roy Ray being principal. Miss Tinlin being 2nd grade Mrs k being kindergarden she was one of my favs. mrs strawn mrs. hall I could go on and on. I remember dellroy as such a good school. I remember the music teacher and family friend Miss Newell she turned me onto other music then just country. I also remember the playground flooding and the tunnels as the kids called them love tunnels. Good times kids will miss this kind of school. God bless Dellroy Elementary.

This building is being razed this year before the end of October 2019. This is the last year of education. The right side of the building was the original part and it has been added on to two other times. If you would want a short history, I would be happy to share.
