I lived there with my parents from 1963 until 1969. It was the called the Drake Brothers farmstead even though they had not owned it since the 1940s or maybe the early 1950s. I carried water to those apple trees to the right of the house when they were first planted. I would to write a history of the farm and have gathered some information. It was a wonderful place to live and I still miss it. I climbed that white silo one time and looked back at the house, I could see my Dad sitting on the back porch reading the paper. I thought if I can see him, he will see me if he looks up. I made the wise decision to climb down before I got caught. My Dad was the tenant hand on the farm and the owner would feed out about 300-500 head of steer every 18 months or so. The long building to the right of the silos was the cattle shed and I believe that is the feed bunkers in from of the shed.
