This is 6218 N. Old State Rd. I lived here at the time this photo was taken. I lived here for the first 14 years of my life. I never thought I'd see a photo with all of the barns and out-buildings still standing. Today only the house and the grainery(building at the center of the photo) remain.

I loved growing up in this house. I have the best childhood memories of playing in the woods, picking berries and looking for arrowheads in surrounding fields after they had been plowed.

Kristie & sisters.....I lived with my Dad & Mom just north at the Myers's Farm where the electric plant was. I went to the Clark & Ida Fleming (before your family) many times with my Dad. Actually we all used to go down to visit. I remember the well in back of the house that they used to draw water up by rope. I spent time at the barns with Clark & Dad. We picked berries along the back fences too! I do remember when The Powells lived there too. 💓
