This house used to stand on Home Road, offset from the street so it was difficult to see. This home was built in 1962, obviously it was in great condition when this photo was taken. Unfortunately, in 1990, a family of hoarders settled on the premises, and they turned the house into a total wreck. Things got so bad, they even kept a goat in the house. Rats and all sorts of vermin festered in the dwelling, to think the family raised children in this state! When the house was bought by the current owner, he told me he puked as soon as he stepped foot into the home, even after it was cleaned up. The place was no longer structurally sound, and was demolished in June 2009. I remember when I visited my friend who lived nearby, I thought there was a landfill by Home Road as the stench could be smelt about a half mile away. It was gone after the property was razed.
