Julian and Emma Myles lived in the home prior to 1977 until around 2009. Either Julian or Emma's dad lived in the home before Julian and Emma. When I met the guy in the late 70's his wife had already passed and he lived there alone. I think it was Roy Myles, Julian's dad. The Myles originally came from the Holgate area. The home is located on the north side of County Road V just west of County Road 9. Between the home and the barn a trailer used to be located and Emma and Julian lived in the trailer prior to moving into the home after the death of the owner. For a time their grandson Mark, lived in the trailer with them. After their deaths a distant relative of mine bought the home.
