My grand folks farm
behind the house on the left was grandma's chicken house. Bottom center barn was the sheep barn.under the large A was the hog house. The big barn on the left was where Grandpa milked and small building in front was the corn crib.

In the V is the wagon shed/machinery shed. Little house far right is just a shelter for the hogs in the field.
The quanset barn is the second barn in that location. The all wood two story barn burned down from spontaneous combustion around 1952.

Thank you for the comments Mike and Gary!
I am buying this place from my father who bought it at auction in the early 2000's. I am slowly renovating the house. I hope to keep it as original as possible. I have wondered who lived here and the history of the place. Thank you for sharing!

My boyfriend grew up in this house. He lived in it before it went up for auction. He loves this house and is so happy you are renovating it. Thank you for fixing up the house!

My family spent 20yrs between the farm on Bone Rd and Martinsburg Rd. 17 yrs we spent on Bone Rd.I loved that placed. The land is filled with memories down to every loved pet(including livestock) that have been put in the ground. Everyday was an adventure and I truly do miss my days there. Good luck to and your remodeling ....it s a big project.
