North side of Waterville-Neapolis Rd just west of Waterville-Monclova Rd. Originally built and owned by the Sherer family, it was an 85 acre farm, which was sold in 1971. At one time there was an apple orchard across the road owned by the Farnsworth Fruit Farm. The lettering on the barn says: "George E Sherer - Orchard View Farm". During WW II, German prisoners came out to the farm to help work the sugar beet crop.
