Note how the front is all boarded up.Threatened with destruction by a chain drugstore company, it was saved by the Waterville Historical Society in 1999 and restored to become Wakeman Hall, with meeting room and replica of turn of the century general store downstairs and archival center upstairs. Open Wednesdays from May through October from 10 a.m.until 2 p.m. and by appointment during the winter.
