The house to the right if the property line was my grandparent's farm. After surviving the Pacific side of WWII, my grandpa bought this farm. Seventy-five acres were used for raising cattle and planting corn and soybeans. My aunt and I used to "swim" in the corn that was stored in the silos. As children in the 80's-mid 90's my cousins and I would climb to the hayloft and help feed the cows. Then my grandpa would load us in a trailer hooked to one of his tractors and take us to the woods to pick buckeyes and blackberries. The woods are not in this photo, but are in other aerial photos. They were located near the top right corner of this photo. After the death of my grandparents much of the working farm has been sold. Only the house and woods remain in the family.
