The land was granted to the Reese family in the early to mid 1800's. Originally built as the Shidler farmstead, the dated tile from the barn says J. Shidler 1891. The farm was owned by Frank and Almeda Culler until about 1966 when it was purchased by the Slater family. Tim and Lou Slater were just beginning a dairy operation here at the time this photo was taken. Many changes have been made since. The house and buildings are now owned by the Warga family.
