My old school. First grade, 1959, Mrs. Hartman. School is a landscape business now.

I attended this school for seventh and eighth grades from 1954 to 1956, after the buildings in Georgetown were closed. The cafeteria was new then, and my favorite lunch was Sloppy Joe sandwiches. Teachers I can remember were Mrs. Lookabaugh, Mrs. Crail, Mrs. Shaffer, Mr. Homa and Miss Boario, Mr. Burlando was our principal and Mrs. Lehman was the school nurse. My older sister attended this school from first to eighth grades from 1940 to 1948. I have no idea why she was the only one of five siblings who went all eight grades there.
