This is the farm I grew up on. It was known for years as "the old Shaner place". I think the lady we bought it from in 1974 was a retired librarian. We lived there for 18 years. The trees in front of the house were destroyed in the 1978 tornado. There was a little building behind the house we called "the butcher shop". During deer season in November, we used it to have a deer processing business. In the summers, the large field beside the house we grew corn in and sold by the roadside. So many memories!!!
