1773 Jersey St., West Addison, VT barns no longer exist

This is our old place!! Hidde &Shirley Osinga

I use to babysit the Osinga kids when I was much younger. So many good memories. It use to be the Lemays that owned it before the Osinga's.

I lived in the white side as a kid. Anyone else remember feeling it being haunted?

Hi Eric! Can you tell us more about the time period and maybe share what has changed since 1967? Did you ever have any ghostly encounters?

Hi Alexis! I'd be happy to share. I lived there from middle of 1993 until Nov 1997. That put my age from 7-11 years old. My family and I lived in the right side of the duplex. My bedroom was on the top right corner. There was countless things that happened. I haven't talked to many people about it due to me thinking I was the crazy one. However recently I found out that someone else had the same experiences that I did in the exact same room 10 years after I lived there!

The specific activitys and experiences for me was, In the closet there in an attic cover kept opening and staying open. I'd show my dad and he said it must just be the wind from outside somehow moving it. There was no door on the closet so we had a white kinda see through curtain hanging in the door way. I saw many time a small silhouette of what I thought was a little girl with long hair standing in the closet doorway. I also use to hear voices. The most common word that was whispered was nooooo. It was a soft long no. The voice also talked to me from time to time telling me random crazy stuff and it wasn't a nice or comfortable experience. Sometimes in the dark I'd look out my window and see a man's face staring back at me. No facial hair and never said anything. I can still picture it in my head like it just happened. I also had a water bed and it would move on its own. Sometimes I'd lay on my back and the ceiling would spin from the light ficture outwards. 90% of all of this would only happen at night time.
