My father grew up on this farm near Elmwood. I spent many weekends visiting here. The barn in the photo was the second one on this farm. I have photos of the "new" barn and corn crib being built and many others as well. In later years, my aunt and uncle purchased the farm and took over the operation. They had hogs and cattle. The farm was near the river and there was quicksand there.
