Ladish Malt Jefferson junction
I am wondering if the large white square building in the foreground right side of the print. Is the Maximillian (Sp) House. If so that hotel was built by my great, great, great grandfather. In 1881 he sold 17 acres to the railroad connected to the Laddish malt plant, 1892 - George will build a $2,000 Hotel near the Junction to be built by Kitzman Hotter and Bezzold. I am working on my family tree and at this point have not been able to secure any pictures of the outside or any inside parts of the Hotel.
the big white building on is in fact maxmillian house .brown house to left of max house is my uncle louis blasing who was an arrow maker and good archerer. white house on far left was my fathers lynn blasing who were brothers and worked at ladish malt. i am michael blasing worked on RR at jeff jct.
in my last comment i forgot to say max house louis blasings house and my childhood house of lynn blasing have all been torn down by the cargill corporation .a mile away was one room country school where all surrounding area kids went to school and it is still standing .life was great and laid back.
