The farm is Stiles vegetable farm, in the foreground is the house I was born and raised in (3015 Tobin road now 2911 116th street, my mother lived there for 54 years and currently owned by Richard Stiles, the one on the border of the photo, the building just to the left and slightly above was Albrights store when I was a little guy.

The pond was Pfeiffers' I used to go fishing in. That was back in the early 70's Bobbie Stiles was a good friend, I haven't seen him in 40 years. That side of the road is all houses now.

I watched that pond be dug, it was put in by the Irving's of Irving polishing and buffing. The property was later sold to Ray Pfeiffer, brother of Bob Pfeiffer of Pfeiffer Transmissions. Last i knew Bobby Stiles lives in Florida, i just talked to his ex-wife 15 minutes ago. She is a waitress at Home Run.

The pond is all grown up around it now. Over the summer could barely see it with my drone.

Absolutely amazing to learn all this history. I remember Scott always out pole vaulting. I do not remember Bobbies wifes name but she was a real sweetheart and always took great care of him.
