Smell (Spudge) Kelley's place. My grandfather's middle brother. My grandfather traded this "short 40"(32 acres) for the 150 on the hill, across CR 514 because Spudge was going to lose it, drinking, gambling, & whoring it all away. The 150 was is terrible shape, nearly washed away and had just been "let go". Also in trade, a 1953 Ford NAA Golden Jubilee tractor. Spudge had worn out the tires on it driving it up & down the road, using it like a car!

Spudge was found hanging in the pecan tree just to the right of telephone pole, on the right side of the house.

Smell was supposed to be Enell.
