Talmadge and Nettie Bentons Store
It took me a minute, but I recognize Benton’s Store located in Sylvan Grove Community on Co Rd 73. On special occasions, if we were extra good, the school bus would stop 🛑 there & let us get something!
My granny lived down that lane in front of the store. We’re just little kids at the time but Ms. Nettie was one of a kind. I will never forget her, or the time we spent there. My daddy, brothers and sisters live just down the road still
