I grew up in the white house next door to this house. I lived there from 1964 until I moved into my newly built home in 1985. I had the house and attached apartment moved in 2019 after the nearby church purchased the land where they were sitting. I had them moved to another place in Big Cove. I will always have my special memories for all the family land there, one of which was the rich cotton fields all around before the big boom that came into the area.
