RC & Floydell Newcomb

This is a photo of the Floydell Newcomb (my husband’s mother) home place. The property was purchased by her mother, Alda Wilmoth, in the late 1920s after the death of her husband in a mining accident. Floydell lived there her entire life. When she married R.C. Newcomb, he built the house seen here. The property is still in the Newcomb family but the house is gone. My husband was raised there and I purchased the photo for him so that no matter where we go, he always has a piece of “home” with him.
