I'm pretty sure this is the intersection of CA Highway 99 and E Robertson Blvd.

This appears to me , to be CA Highway 99 and Avenue 24, Chowchilla, CA. Looking southeast.

I agree with Aeronut. I remember looking at this intersection before. I put down the wrong streetname (probably was still in the clipboard or search box). Apologies.
The top corner shows what looks to be a match for car junkyard that is still there now. Still a gas station there, just a Chevron now instead of a Shell. Road curves, medians all line up.
