This is on South Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs across from Mac Magruder Chevrolet. Street in back should be Mesquite. The store to the right (not the Woolworths) is a Mayfair grocery store. IIRC, both of these stores were closed by 1970 (I think Woolworths moved to the Palm Springs Mall on McCallum and Sunrise, and Mayfair went out of business) and both buildings were gone by 1980. Lot is still vacant. Mac Magruder Chevrolet closed sometime in the early 2000s and as of 2015 the buildings were still there, not sure about now...

I remember these two buildings when my parents and I lived in P.S. I was about 5 or 6 and we would shop at the Mayfair. They carried Van de Kamp's baked goods with the blue windmill logo. At Woolworth's they had a lunch counter where ny Dad & I would go about once a week and have a footlong hotdog and a soda. We would walk around Woolworth's & sometimes we would see Red Skelton and his daughter or 'Red Skeleton' as I pronounced it. He was always nice and would wave at me. I was a big fan of his t.v. show then.
