Empire, CA, where the Modesto and Empire Traction Railroad joins the Santa Fe railroad. Upper left is Santa Fe Ave, Santa Fe Railroad, and White Ave, which is mostly gone. The wide road in the bottom right was apparently just a railroad road.

The old Empire train depot is in the upper left corner. Burned by the fire department for "practice" many years ago.
