My grandparent's house. I lived here until 2001. It's gone now. I'm so glad to have found this picture. You have no idea how special this is to me.

The house on the right belonged to my grandparents Hiram and Ruth Cates. The house on the left was my grandfather's sister Irene Cates. The little barn over on the left side was for our horses. The horse out in the field behind the houses is Charlie Brown. I was about 13 years old when this picture was taken. My grandmother planted the big oak tree just to the left of the house on the right. This is Jodeco Road. Our driveway was the Stockbridge/McDonough line. We had a Stockbridge adress and our neighbors just east of us had a McDonough address.

The road directly across from our driveway is Chambers Rd. It was still a dirt/gravel road in this image.
