I grew up in this house from 1995 - 2005. Then my grandmother lived here until she passed in 2018. My sister currently lives here and Is soon to welcome their first child into our childhood home. Many memories here, we love this house!

Where was your favorite spot to hang out at as a kid? Did your family keep animals in the barn as well?

So the barns were actually a surprise to us! The only building left besides the house is the small white shed behind the house. It is now roofless and completely overgrown by ivy. There is an old detached garage that is not pictured, it was built sometime after this photo but before my family moved in. At some point I think the farm was sold off into separate farming / cow fields, the house itself is now just down to about a half acre lot.

To answer your question, as kids we hung out in the pecan trees out front and on both porches. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen drinking coffee when my grandma lived there.
