Aunt Bernice Maness from Sycamore and mother Irene Becker White, were born and grew up here in 1931 and 1933. Their grandfather, and my great Grandfather Emil Becker, built this house.

I grew up on this farm. It was sold when Emil Becker, my grandfather entered a nursing home at the age of 98. The 15 acres that the buildings are situated on were then resold to another party. This picture would have been taken while he still lived there. The windmill and chicken house are gone now. I have pictures of cattle in that feedlot beside the barn.
