This was my elderly neighbor's house. He was Lithuanian and always had time for us kids. He'd give us apples from his orchard and let us feed his rabbits. A very kindly older man. I was visiting him the day the barn burned and he kept me calm and called the fire department.

The house survived into the late 1990s. By 2002, only the foundation was visible in aerial images.
