This is the Lorraine and Leo Pattermann Farm on the north side of Gary's Mill Road and the east side of the DuPage River just a bit east of the junction of Rt 59 and Gary's Mill Road. The original Gary's Mill School was located in the grove of trees at the center bottom. This was taken in 1965, several years after the Pattermann's had moved away. The buildings are now all gone and the land is part of the DuPage County Forest Preserve stretching all the way north to Butterfield Road.
