William and Stella Stark Farm, located on Army Trail Road west of Schmale Road. They lived in the house on the east side of there driveway and a son and his wife, Earl and Helen and their 4 children lived in the house on the west side of the driveway. My husband went to school with their son Ron, was Best Man at his wedding and Ron was Best Man at our wedding. We are still good friends of the whole family. Ron, Judy and family moved to Malta, IL in the early 70's.
Suburbia arrived here with the construction of the nearby golf course. By 1983, most of the buildings were gone, but the house on the east side of the driveway and a couple of the smaller buildings beside it were spared and are still there today (307 Army Trail Rd).
