Eugene and Laura Hahn Farm, located on Schick Road, west of Gary Avenue, then it had a Bartlett address, now it has a Bloomingdale, IL address.
My husband Keith and I along with our 2 daughters, Nancy and Laura lived in the little cape cod house just to the east, on this farm for 9 years. Super nice people. We enjoyed living there.
This property is now part of the DuPage Forest Preserve.
This was my grandfather’s farm. Raised a large family farming just 90 acres. Lots of great childhood memories for me.
The barn remained until at least 2005. Aerial images show it gone by 2007.
