This property would later become part of the DuPage County Forest Preserve, which turned the land around the farmstead into a landfill in the 1970s.

Schroeder Brothers Farm. George and Evelyn Schroeder lived on the farm, located on north side of Schick Road, now part of Mallard Lake Forest Preserve.
