By 1972, this house was sandwiched between the apartment complex to the south and a retail strip center on the north. By 1974 another strip center was built directly in front of the house, along Woodward Avenue. Oddly, the house and pool remained, with a front-side view of an alley and the back of the strip center. The house is still there, but the pool went away sometime in the late 1990s.
