Talman Home

At the time of this photo, Talman was the largest S&L in Illinois. Its 1980 merger with Home Federal Savings & Loan created the largest thrift in the state. The S&L crisis of the late 1980s put an end to Talman, as it was acquired by ABN AMRO, the parent of LaSalle Bank, in 1991.
