27W361 79th Street. This was part of a farm which was here long before the subdivisions around it. The beginnings of the 80th Street homes are visible in 1961 aerial images. By that time, an old barn which had been next to the silo pictured above, appeared to be in the process of dismantling. In 1962, only the house and silo remained.
