In 1968 this farm was owned by Joe and Annie Wesselman located north of Effingham in the Green Creek area. The Wesselmans we our neighbors to the west. They had a large family, maybe 10 or more, not sure, hence the large farmhouse that is seen in the photo. I remember their home as the most majestic in all of Green Creek and Annie always kept their home beautifully decorated.
