Louie Buennemeyer and his wife owned it for quite a while. They had the best fried chicken you'd ever want to eat!

After my husband and l were married in 1967, and l moved back to Teutopolis,after having lived in Denver for four years,l had one of the best steaks that l had ever tasted, at the Green Lantern!!! ,

I remember eating there as a kid. I always remember it being so dark inside the building. Loved the sign out in front of the building, too.
