Dugger Residence

My Grandmother Fay Melvin and her husband Maurice built the house. Grandad had the stables added to the barns in the 1920's according to my dad, Gary Leland Melvin. The farm was adjacent to Greatgrandpa's farm purchased in the 1830's. They raised purebred Angus cattle and exhibited nationally in Chicago and the Denver Stock Show at the farm's heighth before WWII.
Only the house now remains. The house and farmland were sold separately when my mother moved to town.
