In the 1950's and '60's this was the home of Judge Petersen it burned due to arson in the 1970 or 80's, the property is occupied by a church today (2019). The buildings are on the south side of Galena Blvd. (Bus Rt30) at the intersection with Barnes Road. The disturbed diagonal area in the upper right corner in the former right of way of the now defunct Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota Railroad, it is now part of the Virgil Gilman Nature Trail. The area on the left or east of Barnes Road in the site of Blackberry Farm (formerly Pioneer Park) an entity of the Fox Valley Park District.
