This farm was, at one time, named Ash Grove Dairy. The big brick building near the silo was the milkhouse where they pasteurized and bottled the milk made in the big barn which has been destroyed by fire it looks like. they also bought milk from surrounding farmers and had delivery trucks that took the bottled milk house to house in Kankakee. I was born in the small house near the rear center of the picture. My Grandfather Beedy started this business and my father, Lyall Beedy continued it until 1939 when we moved away.
We lived across the field to the south east, Spangler Farm
I remember Dean Hupes family living there in the 70s
