This farm used to be on the west corner of Rt. 60 and Schank Ave. (Rt. 83 intersection); view is looking SW. Schank Ave. is visible on upper left (branching off Rt. 176 above it), Rt. 60 runs along the bottom, and Rt. 176 is on the upper left. The farm was built in 1875, but has long since been razed. However, the driveway imprint is still quite visible. An alternate view is shown on the next slide (#33).
Martin and Zita Behn
Martin Albert Behm (1913-2003) and Zita Kunigunda Catherine (Weidner) Behm (1916-2011) farmed this land. They discontinued farming and held a cattle and machinery auction on December 29, 1973. The Ivanhoe Congregational Church is located (not shown) top center-right of the photo.
