Rt. 176 and Rt. 21 in Libertyville Il

This is actually the NW corner of Rt. 45 and Rt. 176 in Mundelein, looking west. If one looks closely, the route signs on the lower left read "South 63" and "West 176". Route 63 is no longer used (it's basically Midlothian Rd. and went from Rt. 176 to Lake Zurich). The other sign (just to the left of the "Vintage Aerial" watermark) reads "North 45". The service station is long gone and it's been a real estate office for as long as I can remember. Location updated on the map.

Some more observations while I'm passing through: in addition to the aforementioned route signs, there is a Gulf sign at the lower left corner of the station property, with a gas price sign midway down the pole, which reads 27.9 cents/gal. (if only...), and at the bottom of the gulf sign sits a "sandwich board" sign advertising "DOES MOTEL / Turn Right / 3 Miles Up", with the body of the sign creating an arrow pointing to the right. To the right of the Gulf sign are a cluster of route signs which read: Upper left - it's some circular logo with arrows pointing to the left and right below it; Upper right - Rt. 45 sign with an arrow pointing up below it; Lower right - Rt. 176 sign with arrows pointing to the left and right; Lower left - Rt. 63 sign with arrows pointing left and right. If you're still reading, there is also a restaurant sign on the bottom middle which reads "Good Food" within the black "T" shape, "Complete Dinners" within the arrow around the Coca-Cola® sign, and the bottom sign reads "HEADLINER / DINING ROOM / CHOICE STEAKS". In recent decades this restaurant site has been home to a couple of pancake houses.

Yes, it is the NW corner of Rt. 45 and Rt. 176 in Mundelein. The Gulf station was owned by Art Lampe. And The Headliner diner across 45 had good food. Later, the Headliner became Dale's Coffee Shop then became Mundale's then it changed names several more times after that. I grew up 2 blocks away in the 1960s.
