This is Laura B Sprauge Elementary School District 103 in Lincolnshire Illinois on Riverwoods Rd 1/4 mi south of Illinois 22 (Half Day Rd). This picture must have been taken the same year it was built. Laura B Sprauge is widely accepted as the first teacher in the area. Her grave is in the Vernon Cemetery off Olde Half Day Rd next to the Des Plaines River bike trail. I went to school there from 1971 to 1974. The Principle at that time was Dr. Carter. The hill is still there in the front of the school. The utility poles still run along the north side of the school. During the late 60s, a new wing was built on the north side extending the north wall to the east. A parking lot was built to the east of that. In the 2000s, the school was extended west from the GYM in the picture above. The divot in the fore ground is where a paved basketball court exists to this day.

2016-2017. 3rd major expansion occurred. A new 2 story wing was built protruding west into part of the old parking lot towards Riverwoods road from the "new gym"
