James Simpson stables/kennels.. one of the historic properties of the Old Mill Creek Hunt Country

The Stoneybroke Farm in Wadsworth was owned by James Simpson, Jr. (1905-1960). Simpson was a U.S. Congressman, director and member of the executive committe of Marshall Field & Co. and also, a member of the Mill Creek Hunt Club located nearby. He and his wife, Ella De Trevelle (Snelling) Simpson, raise prized English Springers that were recognized throughout the country.
